President and Owner
As the founder and president of GNC Consulting, Mr. Cooper oversees strategic planning and business development efforts. His leadership contributes to the culture of the company and sets the bar for exemplary client service, ethics, and teamwork. Mr. Cooper brings over twenty-five years of information technology and project management experience in the ERP industry to GNC and is the guiding force behind GNC’s excellent customer relations. Mr. Cooper founded GNC Consulting in 1995 as the sole employee and has served as president since that time. Because of his broad knowledge of the computing industry as well as managing internal operations, employee workforce, and finances, Mr. Cooper has been able grow GNC Consulting into one of the largest and most talented Oracle/PeopleSoft teams in the country, ranking eighth of seventy-two Oracle Platinum Partners in 2010. GNC has consistently ranked in the top tier within Oracle/PeopleSoft specialized partners for the past ten years. Under the direction of Mr. Cooper, GNC Consulting has expanded into other Oracle product suites such as Hyperion, Taleo, and the Cloud while adding new, specialized industries such as: Public Sector, Healthcare, and Utilities.
Since the inception of GNC Consulting, Mr. Cooper has provided the firm with strategic direction. He manages business development efforts, assists with sales calls, proposal writing, pricing, and estimation of service offerings and contracts. He also manages key client and account relationships, assisting with project management and execution for Oracle ERP and Hyperion implementations as needed. Throughout his tenure at GNC, Mr. Cooper has served as a consultant, project manager, engagement manager, and owner. With more than twenty years of consulting and programming experience, Mr. Cooper has presided over 200 plus projects for clients in a variety of Fortune 500 industries. Additionally, he is active in Oracle related conferences, often attending throughout the year. His leadership in the development and implementation of the GNC corporate strategy has been an integral part of GNC’s success.
Prior to establishing GNC Consulting, Mr. Cooper was a principal consultant at Business Information Technology, one of the original PeopleSoft Consulting Partners. This firm has been working with PeopleSoft since its first release to the public.
Mr. Cooper holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a minor in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. Upon graduation, Mr. Cooper served as a programmer/analyst in the United States Army, working at the Military District of Washington D.C. and held a Top Secret Security Clearance.
